Carrizozo volleyball team to be honored by town council

The Carrizozo Town Council will honor the Carrizozo High School volleyball team at its meeting Monday night. The meeting is expected to start at 6 p.m.

The volleyball team finished second in the state in Class B this past season, losing to Elida in the championship match on Nov. 12.

Coach Pam Allen will hand out All-District and honorable mention awards at the meeting.
